Originally from Frederick County, Maryland, I grew up in a family where blue-collar Work and Art were always Crossing paths. My grandfather was a woodworker/upholster in Washington DC, and My father was a plumber/Handyman/Artist/Cook, and a true jack of all trades. Being inspired by my father, I decided to take a job at 14 washing dishes; This grew into A desire to become a chef where I could design my own menus and serve my food! I was able to achieve this, and I moved to San Francisco and attended the Culinary Academy of Le Cordon Bleu. After being a Chef in the Bay Area for Nearly a decade, I decided to test my luck and build some cutting boards for family and friends. After being so well received, I thought maybe this is a viable side job! That was 5 years ago! I'm thinking is this a viable full-time job, Who knows :) But I truly enjoy the artistic expression that I have enabled myself To put into the world! For now, I'll continue to work in kitchens and build Cutting boards while at home with my
loving family!
